Stereotypes- New Zealand

Since I am a woman, people in New Zealand will see me as that. Woman in New Zealand have been treated like they are worthy of their rights as a woman. However Maori traditions of a woman are such that they don’t participate in the duties of a man when doing meetings and rituals. They are to greet the guest, but not participate in the meeting.
I am going to try my hardest to follow the regulations of a woman in New Zealand. If I get into a situation where a misunderstanding is brought up than I will try to figure out what was misunderstanding and explain why it was misunderstood. Also I problem is that they would know I am an American and that they will treat me as so. Trying to fit in as best as I can is a goal in mind.
