For New Zealand non-verbal communication, when speaking to a person there is not eye contact what so ever. They believe it is rude to make eye contact; it causes relationship conflict and confrontation in their country. I think that is very interesting knowing that in my country it is important to make eye contact but in New Zealand it’s rude. I alone have trouble making eye contact, but I have been taught to so it will be difficult at first.
