BRICS: The New World PowersThere is a new era arising in international relations. The rise of the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) is changing power dynamics in world affairs. While the U.S. maintains its superpower status, it is increasingly being challenged in the world sphere by the BRICS countries. The BRICS countries are flexing their power and are demanding a larger role in decision-making processes.
Although this new power seems to be on the rise, the US will still have a lot of power because we are a democracy and most are not. They have a lot of potential.
